This is what I had read at the service. My flight to and from was from hell! I
am still so tired. The service was amazingly wonderful and the cemetery is
absolutely beautiful . It has rolling hills, a stream with water lilies and
fish, and it's isolated and quiet. Just as the service was finished, a train
went by and tooted its horn. We weren't sure if this was intentional, as there
were many railroaders there, or if it was coincidence. It was strange it
happened at that moment anyway. I saw Aunt Julia and met and saw people I
hadn't seen in years. K. Lynn and Gary do you remember the Smith's who lived
down the road from us in a little house with three daughters named
Veda, Vonnie, and Veda? Well, Veda and Vonnie came to see ME at the service! I
was speechless. I haven't seen them since I was 6 for heaven sakes. Then Veda
wrote this beautiful document with photos and rolled in a ribbon and
gave it to me. I am still overwhelmed by this. Anyway, in the niche I put a
satin pillow "to rest in peace" with red white and blue silk
flowers, and pictures of daddy and I when I was little on Orchard Mesa ,and
then bigger, and one of him in his military uniform. I will send these as
well a little later.
